Well, he was leaving town today for Austin, and taking the bike with him, and rolling back through Sunday. He nor the bike will be available for sale, until Sunday anyway. I only hope he doesn't leave it in the car in Austin. It may be on CL again before he knows it's gone. Lots of interesting bikes there. I guess all of the college town bicycles from the old days? I dunno, but there's usually a lot more collector style bikes there, and fairer prices. Anyway, I don't even know what year it is yet, so the whole size vs. stem style stuff can be ironed out later. It looked big enough, so I went for it before it was gone.,,,,BD

Try a Panaracer 1 1/4" !! They're super chunky, hehe. They make large framed bikes look like 650b conversions. I may go that route.
