Getting back to the op's question regarding the bike, not just the fork.
I think this bike fits any description one might care to create regarding the term "hybrid"
Calling it a road bike, is a bit silly. OK so it has drop bars.
But seriously, a road bike with a suspension fork and 650x42c tires?
C'mon. If it quacks like a hybrid, it's a hybrid.
