3speedslow - the Pitard is quite nice to actually see in person, and I like the fact that Duke7777 decided to leave the original finish as it adds that certain patina that helps to truly appreciate the many fine details on the bike. It is great to be able to know someone that enjoys these vintage French bikes - I feel somewhat spoiled whenever I look at what he has! Thanks to members such as him there are obscure and rare marques being put back on the road to be enjoyed again. By the way, your chain ring arrived in Blaine so hopefully I can get down there in the next few days and send yours along. In the meantime here is my very modest contribution to this thread:
