70'S Viscount "Aerospace" Pro with death forks and suicide brakes

My kinda ride Was on CL today and came across this. Has some wear and tear as expected but appears original except tires, added metal water bottle holder and generator lights which appear period correct. Seat is pretty much rotted but cool.

Beside the price, thing that caught my attention was the handlebars. Anyone remember flipping their bars in the early 80's? Riding wheelies for days? I'm going to have a hard time changing them back, others riders in my area will think I am an idiot and I will just smile. I remember my older brothers hippy friends with their bars like this and I was in my early teens, could ride all the way to 7-11 from my house on one wheel, practicing how tight I could get a circle on the cul de sac and having a blast!

Shows yours if you have one! Pretty cool bike IMO..I'll clean up and post some close ups, hopefully no cracks or nothing crazy. I did an inspection when I picked up but need to do a detail and go over.

I don't know if it's me only but I have to click on pictures twice to make them large.
