When shopping for components you can't install yourself, shop around and compare the TOTAL COST including installation. Labor rates are relatively high, so a discount on labor can easily offset any price difference.

Now that you're past that option, consider bringing the frame, fork and stem and spacers along with the complete headset. Many shops don't have a separate price for pressing the 3 parts vs. installing and adjusting a headset. So, if you're paying for the complete job anyway, you might as well let them do it.
