Sorry to revive... I had a heartbreaking experience with one of my Bianchis that you'll appreciate.
I rode my '02 Bianchi Vigorelli (beater, but I love her none the less) and when I got back I propped it against a brick column while I opened my door. Gust of wind blew it right over and got a nice dent like this (slightly bigger) in the top tube. I was sick about it for a week!



BTW, would you mind posting a close up of that stem and the bars? I'm to the finishing touches on a Mondiale build that I'm trying to make close to original spec. Wondering what this year Superleggera had on it. ITM?
