Christmas day was some of the worst rain I've ever driven through (headed up to the folks'), and the front yard was awash. Surprising where some of the road flooding problems were. It wasn't the worst since I moved down here, though; there was a flash flood maybe 15 years ago that left a nice boat in the middle of a divided highway where it crossed a river. This weekend it wasn't even up to the bottom of that bridge! (Of course, 30 miles west the same U.S. highway was closed due to flooding.)

The storm track over us has wreaked (much less important) havoc on my cycling, since I'm trying to kick an URI and get back on the bike for regular rides. Hard to do when I don't want to ride in the rain and catch it again...
