I want decent disc brakes (for wet conditions and to save the rim from road debris caught in the pads), 4700 or 5800 components, room for 28mm GP4 Seasons and full length fenders, and under $1,000. Do you guys have any pointers? Do you think I can keep up at 20-23 mph with a winter bike like the Fuji? Please save the comments on whether getting a winter bike is worth it. I want one, so I'm getting one.
That Fuji seems perfect for what you are after. 35c tires are great.
