What would happen if you tried to print, say, a sprocket? Or would that be too weak to be part of a 'cycle's drivetrain?
If I tried to print it the part would be too weak. My 3d printer uses fused deposits of melted plastics.

What you really want is the machine that created this:

This company used a laser sintering process (the laser fuses a fine metal powder) to create a fully working Colt 1911 .45 pistol. They even printed the rifling in the barrel.

A machine like that could print a whole bike for you!
