I'm all for getting something cheap. It is going to be exposed to all the grit, water, salt, and chemicals from winter roads after all. But I also want something that shifts, brakes and handles well. Going used was my first thought. I looked around, but it's tough to find what i'm looking for in my size. I ride a 48cm frame and not many people ride a frame that small. I found a 2011 Caad10 ultegra in my size for $600 on CL but that won't hace the clearance for full length fenders and 28mm tires.
