That's because when there's an impact it crushed the foam, which of course doesn't go back to it's original state. I manged a motorcycle shop and we weren't allowed to sell a helmet that had been dropped.
I just don't understand how if I'm walking along and drop my helmet with that very hard exterior shell.. I'm 5'7" so that's maybe 2 and a half or 3 ft that it crushes the foam.. sorry don't believe it but I know that's what they say. Must be some very fragile stuff then and I'll bet many people have done that so kinda renders it useless and extremely costly. Not buying it though I need to see a mythbusters on this one lol.
