My wife's problem wasn't with the buying of it (and she got a far nicer gift than my two frames, trust me ) but with the having of 127102957 bikes in the house. Currently we've got her Ritchey, my Aegis road, and then the 3Rensho conversion and now the two additional track frames. In a NYC apartment, it's just a lot of bikes.

As for the Panasonic, I'm at this point only in need of a rear hub... I've got a front Phil, but no rear. I need bars/chain as well, but those are so easy to pick up, I'm not sweating it. That pink Phil hubset just came up on eBay, and I'm keeping an eye on it... I won't do it for $700, but less than that, maybe.
