I was considering a 2016 Defy 2 disc as my bad weather ride. But calling that styling top notch? I think it's one of the ugliest frames. It reminds me of a cruiser. The graphics are whatever. The color scheme on the grey black and red Defy Advanced 3 is nice though.

The Tektro TRP Spyres are awesome mechical disc brakes. Probably the best mechanicals on the market. Good modulation and feel. Some people who have tried both the Spyres and the cable actuated hydraulic Hy/Rd brakes even say that the $40 extra per caliper on top of the Spyres isnt worth it. Its nice to see that bike companies are including very nice disc brake on their Tiagra/105 level bikes. Very welcomed departure from the normal 105/Ultegra level bike with $30 Tektros. But you are paying for it. I wouldn't exactly call $1800 a bargain for a carbon frame with 4700.
