Not everybody knows things. Power meters are virtually voodoo and some don't realize it isn't as simple as throwing on a magnet for a cadence sensor. Additionally, the prominent tabs seen on the 4iiii are actually for installation. They initially intended it to be a self installation deal, but ran into issues on shipping regulations for the epoxy.
