I'll add that a drop or two of oil down in between the retaining arm bolt and it's extracting cap is a good idea. Both could be AL and without lube high pressure and rotation could cause galling. BTW congrats of all for not describing rotation as lefty/righty. How I hate those terms. Andy.

Can you confirm I can remove with Allen wrench and the Park Tool BBT 9? I am buying these cranks. I have to drive a long distance to the Seller's home. It sounds like the seller is not knowledgable about working on bikes and will likely not have tools. thanks.
