Yes, if there has been recent precipitation or runoff. You can pretty much always see the shiny spots before you come up on them though. Be cautious descending or coming up to corners. If you do hit ice DO NOT hit the brakes, your wheels will lock up and you will fall over; try to go in a straight line and more often than not you will stay upright.
