Ok ok...this got no traction yesterday, and I am assuming it is either because a) there were no pics and/or b)where are the alloy Miyata lovers?

Anyhow, I just picked it up. The CL ad had $100, and in it he said he would be willing to take $75. I gave him $80 because I liked the guy (we are both from Baltimore, and he is returning home after being in the Army) and thought it was already quite a good deal on it. He got it from his roommate. It's definitely been kept inside, hardly a scratch anywhere. Needs to be cleaned up, and it is missing a front brake pad (because it was rubbing, and annoying him and I assume he had no idea how to center the calipers). He definitely wasn't a bike guy, but said he had been riding it to work - hard to tell, as there are hardly any signs of wear. Other than that, wow. Shifts nice and smooth, rides really nice.

I'm hoping I'll be able to squeeze a set of fenders on. I have some nicer tires with a blue sidewall I can use on it for now, and I'll put new tape on the bars.
