In fact, the less powerful you are, the more benefit you will receive from lighter bike (because you spend more time climbing than faster riders do: in other words, if riding the lighter bike saves 1%, then the guy who formerly took 45min to climb the mountain will save more time than the guy who climbs it in 30 minutes).
