Cool, I'm officially a DOPER!!!!
I doubt asthma. Asthma is CHRONIC, meaning it's always there. In some folks it's so mild as to not be noticeable except with flares. But a one time bronchospasm illness/episode is unlikely to be asthma. There is of course a fancy test for asthma, called PFTs (pulmonary function test) but you may not need it and in any case should be done after you are recovered from this episode.
