Glad you are better. Albuterol is a beta agonist and not a steroid. It's also on the WADA banned list but you can get a TUE (therapeutic use exemption).

PS I doubt diagnosis of asthma, more likely virus caused inflammation in your airways. But see your primary and avoid getting medical advice on the Internet.
