A question about servicing on a tour? I have just had the bearing cleaned and re greased easily at a bike shop in the North of Thailand but I'm unable to remove the free hub because it needs a 14mm hex key which are very hard to find and too heavy to carry as a tool on a tour.

Maybe you can find a bolt with a 14mm hex head on the end of the bolt. Then either lock two nuts against each other (which of course would mean a big wrench and a vice or a second big wrench). I have no clue if this would work, just trying to think outside the box here.
I have no idea how to add grease.
