Bikes: 1961 Ideor, 1966 Perfekt 3 Speed AB Hub, 1994 Bridgestone MB-6, 2006 Airnimal Joey, 2009 Thorn Sherpa, 2013 Thorn Nomad MkII, 2015 VO Pass Hunter, 2017 Lynskey Backroad, 2017 Raleigh Gran Prix, 1980s Bianchi Mixte on a trainer. Others are now gone.

I suspect you would get more responses for your current situation if you started a new thread instead of resurrecting a four year old thread.

Does anyone know how to add some lube to the free hub mechanism with out a 14mm hex?
Maybe you can find a bolt with a 14mm hex head on the end of the bolt. Then either lock two nuts against each other (which of course would mean a big wrench and a vice or a second big wrench). I have no clue if this would work, just trying to think outside the box here.

I have no idea how to add grease.
