One of my best purchases ever on eBay was a bunch of stuff from a multi-sport shop which was closing it's bike repair operation. I think it came in two or three very heavy boxes. I got all sorts of stuff I was sure I would never need, but a couple years later I'm still putting bits to good use. Just installed a NOS Tange Levin CD headset on a Schwinn Super Sport frame over the weekend, for example. I've used several cheap axles and nuts as dropout spacers when shipping frames. Bottom brackets, miscellaneous small nuts and bolts, all sorts of odd parts came out of those boxes. My only regret is that I let more of their auctions slip past me.
If you can group things as miamijim suggested, that might be the best route. You might not get a bundle for it, but someone out there will find it useful and be thankful.
