Show up to Wyoming with any type of of liberal leanings, and they will run you out of town. Of course, there are little pockets, such as Jackson that will allow that, but likely not many other places.
...in LaFollette, TN, after three years, we had found roughly twelve people with whom we could share this dark secret of progressive liberal leanings. Of those, about ten were also from somewhere else, IIRC. Also, it was a dry county. Probably for the best, because nobody ever asked me out for a beer.
There was a whole bunch of pot growing going on, though.
