As I stated I have had good results with red loctite if i could afford a track hub and a handbuilt wheel I would buy them.I really would like to whittle down my number of bicycles and a fixed and free wheel would eliminate one bike.I am however currently financially challenged ,so food, shelter ,my phone bill etc take priority. I never stomp and i do not skid the wheel.I also run a front brake.I ****** the the pedals to slow the bike but i do not go that fast anyway .The 20 inch wheel fixie ( Dahon Getaway)will be my antidote for cabin fever. My 16 inch wheel fix( Dahon formerly a classic 3) allowed me to play on ice and snow without falling. The 20 incher should be slightly faster.Tires are tioga comp 3's 20 x 1.50 inflatable to 60 psi.
