Hello everyone thank you for all the tips in my other post. Today I got a Shwinn Le Tour Luxe for touring, I believe it to be 1982. I have a friend who is the manager of a bike project here in Delaware and he let me know they had something come in and I picked it up for 70 little ones. I gave it a quick clean when I got home and gosh the dirt and grime was hiding a beauty underneath. Sorry I am just excited. We switched the saddle, derailers, and the crank set to something a bit more suitable for going the distance until I figure out some different ideas for those items. I plan on going to my LBS to check out some nicer saddles, and see what their recommendations are. (Brooks seems to be what most people recommend).

Let me know your opinions or recommendations on updating anything.

This is obviously not my setup or anything just the bike I will be using.
