Not super important, but as a geek for 80s bikes, I always like knowing what I have.

Full chromoly frame which wasn't always the case back in the first half of the 80s for Schwinn's mid-level bikes.

The LeTour and all its versions was an interesting model as it varied in quality year to year more than most of the other models.

Cool bones to build up what you want. Good decision to ride it some before deciding what to change.
