From what I understand the first release of the Delta brakes were a disaster and Campy reverted back to the standard calipers for the C Record group, jazzing them up with the Cobalto jewels. The Delta levers have the little oval and inside the lever is a micro adjust fitting for the brake caliper. I've never owned a set of Delta brakes (and never will at current prices) but they probably don't have a quick release on the caliper. I've always been confused about C Record terminology and the levers with the ovals may be Croce D'Aune. I'm sure others with more knowledge will comment.
