Once again the OP starts a thread and bails on it. One rainstorm destroyed his bike. Well I thought it was toast after the seat clamp debacle. Is it just me or does there seem to be a lack of ability when it comes to maintenance. Simply drying the bike and maybe applying some lube where needed. A lot to ask, I know. Some advice for the OP. Buy the Big Blue Book from Park Tools, its full of how to's on keeping your bike in top shape.
