Ergo 7?

I don't recall Campy offering Ergo in 7-sp, as they introduced it with 8-sp, same time they introduced 8-sp Campy cassettes. Campy offered an Ergo to go with their 7-sp freewheels?.

Perhaps someone wanted Campy Ergo and swapped in the slotted insert for 7-sp into the R Ergo shifter. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 7-sp Ergo doesn't ring any bells.

Given your list of bikes and previous posts, one wonders about a few things.
How about a pic of that 7-sp rear and that R Ergo 7-sp shifter?

Given the inconsistencies, something is amiss.
