I'm befuddled, I thought tiagra and shimano was a good quality brand? Why are these things already destroyed from ONE light rain?

This is now the 3rd cheap part on my $xxxx bike, I just dont get the cost of these things.. When you spend the money on a high end BMW your paying for quality and durability.. I dont get what I'm paying for in a high end bicycle.. I'm also the one who made a post a few weeks back about a seat post clamp giving out in only 3 adjustments.. from head to toe this thing looks like an expensive paper weight..

Cheap parts being charged premium prices....
