I have a Volkl MTB but mine appears to be an older vintage than yours. I worked for a Ski Shop back in the late 1980's where we had a single Volkl bike a Volkl ski dealer which I end up purchasing.

Some speculated mine is a Bianchi frame which was built with Shimano Deore & Deore XT components and Nisi rims. I recently replaced bottom bracket which ended up requiring an Italian threaded bracket set so perhaps the Bianchi frame speculation has some merit. Mine Frame also has the " by Fabio Cavalli " decal on the tail fork.
