Didn't ride today. As @Vonruden said - snow yesterday (started as I was getting ready to ride). 1/2 inch of snow and a 1/2 of salt on the roads. Today never got above 25 deg so it was my first winter day on the trainer. At least I held off until the 18th of Jan. Far better than last winter. My trainer is a 79 Moto Mirage on a Cyclops mag. The Moto stays in top gear all the time and I adjust the trainer counter force a bit but it also stays pegged most of the time. 25 minutes of spinning to Trad then another few minutes of one legged cycling. I do think the one legged work helps. If I'm not perfectly smooth on the power all the way around the clock the tranny rattles to reprimand me. Excellent feedback which promotes smooth spinning. But wicked boring!!

5 to 8 expected on Saturday, and of course more salt.
