My Peugeot PX10 Simplex DT shifters are the best!
The Peugeot mixtes belong to my wife and daughter, they only use one gear. Both are downtube shifters, but to the girls, they're one speed.

My Brifter groupe consist of 8sp Gios, 10sp Cinelli, Colnago and 11sp is the Merlin. Riding in the city, it's better to have brifters, with hands on the hoods and shifting is much safer then reaching to shift and it's more convenient for shifting though the gears! I would argue against these electric shifting brifters, add's weight and if the battery goes dead, do you walk your bike home or call for someone to pick you up in their car?
