$45 is money well spent. But, sooner or later you will learn what you need to know to assemble a BD bike and keep it running perfectly. It's not hard.
I can attach every part except the parts I would be paranoid about. Wheel alignment and brakes. Beyond that I can get it together enough to roll it to the shop and have them fix my mistakes. But for ~45 I'd rather give it to them straight out of the box to avoid any mistakes being made
