Had a chance to ride a Haibike hardtail 29er with Bosch mid-drive on an extended test today. Exhilarating, even though it was a PITA having the assist sign off at 19 mph. Rode it off road up some challenging hills and was amazed at the amount of fun. 350w, PAS-only, so Class 1 legal in CA. Hope to procure something like this soon.
