The easiest way is to use a carpenters level across the top of the saddle, i will do this if I am setting up someone else's bike.

Level is only a starting point, you can move it from there to gain more comfort. The reason we care about level is because of gravity. A stool that wasn't level, wouldn't be very comfortable.
The problem with a pointing the saddle nose down is tendency to slide forward (gravity) so you have to push yourself back. This can become tiring very quickly.
To add confusion, the part of the saddle that needs to be level, is the pat that your sit-bones rest on, this varies from saddle to saddle. This is why you see most Brooks installed nose up, because that makes the the rear of the saddle level.
Your saddle looks fine, but more importantly is it comfortable in that position?
