I've never considered myself extreme. I moved from Boston to Asheville. Cycling environment was #1 on the list of requirements. Here I get to ride 12 months of the year. There I was lucky to get 5. If you have the freedom to live where you like, why wouldn't you choose some place that makes you happy?
