Happiness is what it is all about! That is a profound statement. I love the mountains so that is important to me. I always want to live somewhere beautiful and a places that has access to the forests and mountains. I could dig living by water too but moving to California is improbable. I have a friend in LA who also has a small vacation home in Oregon by Hood River (where he wants to retire) but he makes some serious cash. Till he hires me, I can't try a nice part of California.

I think the east side has a lot of interesting stuff but to me the real beauty is in the west. That's just me...I grew up visiting the Himalayan foothills each year so the mountains draw me to them.
