I can't think of one of the beach communities in LA that's great for riding, like real riding, not even Malibu or Manhattan Beach. In fact, you would've been much better off in the Valley. Weather is great, though.
We rode around, people watched, and hit Happy Hours. That was a lot of fun. It is real riding, since We did it on bikes.
