IMO. The only decent fork Manitou makes are the Minute 2 & 3 coils (The Air /SPV is finiky) & the Sherman. My wife has a Axel on her Jamis Dakar ...POS! I had a Black Platinum as a loaner till my Z1SL came in ...POS! (It rode like a piece of wood and it never gave full travel even on a 4' huck to flat) Everyone knows about the Nixon travel & infinite travel fiasco. The Dorado's are way over priced for thier reliability. (Why the freak would you put SPV in a DH fork? So it would be an efficient pedaller when you pedal your 55 pound DH rig back up to the top of the ski hill? No thanks! Where is the lift?) Give me an 888 anyday and I'll have a better fork and be $600 richer.

Oh, and another thing, what's up with post mount? I have to get an adaptor or a whole new brake caliper to switch to a Manitou fork. Sheesh!

Oh, sorry if I pissed off any Manitou owners, just venting.

T.J.
