My '62 Raleigh International originally came with Weinmann brakes, but I installed Suntour Superbe brakes in 1969 and they are still in good shape. I recently cleaned, lubed and re-cabled, added Cane Creek crosstop levers and an aero handlebar with a nice flat top, and it is really comfortable to ride. But I need new 35mm brake pads, the old ones are hard and barely work. I ride a lot of hills with some steep downhills, so good stopping power is a must. What do you recommend?
