I think a low resting HR is typical for a trained athlete. My HR this morning was 44. Just now, immediately after sitting down at my desk, it was 54. I'm not sure low resting HR has any correlation with needing a lengthy warmup.
That's interesting. My resting HR is around 42. I can get it as low as 38 if I do a resting yoga pose. My max HR is like 190 though which is a big range so I wonder if it does take me longer to warm up. I typically just ride around before races, I don't have a trainer or rollers.
