Bikes: 07 Trek 1000 and 014 Giant Escape

1. What type of bikes do 50+ folks ride?

2. Do you take any special supplements/vitamins/minerals as you have grown older?

Fish oil gel tablets, vitamin B, multi and Whey protein shake after running, lifting or riding.


3. How much do you feel you have "slowed down" if any?

slower running pace, but I think that is just because I don't do as much speed work anymore. Still can keep up with the younger folks at work on the bike.


4. How long have you been biking? New, around a while, biked all your life?

All my life.

5. What type of biking do you do? Long rides, touring, short rec rides.

Commutes, weekend rides of distances from 20 to 50 miles.

6. How often do you bike? Your approximate annual mileage?

Four to five times a week spring through autumn, not as much in the winter. Spin classes in the winter when snowed in. Just started actually keeping a cycling log this year. I have logs on every run I ever done. Don't know why just never kept cycling log..
