Road bike question.
I got a set of new wheels that can take 9/10/11 speed shimano cassettes. All components on my bike are 9 speed now. Can i change my bike to 11 speed by only installing cassette, chain, derailleur and shifters? Will the narrower chain still be able to fit over the chainrings? And will the front derailleur work with the narrower chain? I know I can probably keep the 9 speed derailleur and make it work with the 11 speed cassette but all 9 speed components coming off the bike go on a steel racer so that's why I need another one.
