What a great day it is down here! Yesterday, I took my Raleigh Comp GS out for a spin to meet friends (and the wife) at brunch. It's mostly the same route I use to get to work, but adds on a little. There was one heck of a hill I had to power through to get there! Really felt like I earned my bloody mary. First day I have been able to wear shorts while riding in a few months. I found a nice Craftsman 14mm crescent/ratcheting wrench in the road, as well!

Weather today is very much the same, maybe a few degrees warmer. The outside of my right knee was bothering me though for some reason. I noticed it yesterday, as well. I kept to mostly easier gears. I should be able to shed the jacket this afternoon and enjoy a ride in shorts and short sleeve jersey, and am very much looking forward to that! Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer, but I'll skip the ride. A few local municipalities on my side of the river are having a meeting about possibly starting a Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan, and I plan on attending the meeting to show support/interest. It doesn't start until 6 pm, and I would very much like to be home before 8 pm.
