I should imagine that C & V is, in that respect, rather more like one would imagine a Forum for collectors of Royal Doulton or Minton. One would expect such a forum to contain many images of precious objects proudly displayed by their owners.
Nothing wrong with that; nothing at all.
?
I did not advance a reason.
I pointed something out with the aid of sarcasm.
I happen to agree with you and believe that under normal circumstances there is no reason at all to not post your bikes on a forum dedicated to the discussion of your bikes and bikes in general.
I also believe that almost every reason put forth in this thread against posting your bikes or even the state you live in is fairly ridiculous.
Cruising an internet forum but having issue with being part of the Facebook crowd? Huh?
Theft? Are there still people on the internet that are so naive they don't understand that a 6th grader can obtain your ip address and find you within minutes with ease?
Bragging? You addressed that quite nicely when you referenced the C&V thread.
My favorite though is the ridiculous analogy about also posting how many jackets you have in your closet lol
