If you ride for a sponsored team I was under the impression that your bikes are given to you as part of the agreement. If that is the case are you simply allowed to gift them to friends at your own discretion?
Seems odd to me.
Makes no difference in this case but I am curious.
Many of the National Teams ride their own bikes or bikes given to them by trade teams. Although the NT likely has equipment and a mechanic or few on staff.
