Amen to the tree-hugger kids.
I think single speeds will eventually die out though, once people understand the strength of the mighty 6-speed rear wheel. All the problems started when people got greedy, & wanted 7 speeds, then 8, then 9, etc.
And you can compete for your C-Record all you want, just give me my Suntour.
