Need help picking tires.
Hello everyone,
Last fall I bought a new surly ogre (xl). I really didn't get to ride it that much before Winter hit. The bike came stock with DH19 Alexrims. It has Nano 2.1" knobbies. I seem to ride more miles on cement, asphalt, and the cowboy trail, which is an old train track trail covered with packed crushed rock. I would like some advice on what size touring tires you would suggest. Right now I am considering the schwalbe marathon Mondial. Possibly 700 x 40. What would you suggest?
