You might look at some of the routing used by a few of the Wisconsin bike tours like the Bike Ride Across Wisconsin. They might pick up some roads and avoid others for reasons that I don't know about.

I grew up in Germany but I was actually born at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. We lived there and then Chetek before I moved to Germany at a young age. My grandpa owned a very successful restaurant in Cameron for awhile called The Three Little Pigs BBQ. Closed in the late 90's/early 00's.
